Background:

Recommended for the Board's approval at this meeting is the following stand alone contracts to waive Administrative Policy 3.09(9)(e) related to employee benefits: United Healthcare Services, Inc. (UHC) for Administration of the District's Health Plans, DWC-00-EMB-DW-EMDI = $4,577,844;
United Healthcare Services, Inc. through Optum RX for Prescription Drug Administration, DWC-00-EMB-DW-EMDI = $535,000.
