Background:
|
WI. State Statute 118.07(4)(bm) requires all public and private schools in Wisconsin to have a school safety plan to be followed in the case of emergency situations. The school board is to review and approve the safety plans every three years or when changes are made and to provide a letter of certification. The letter will then be forwarded to the WI. Department of Justice, Office of School Safety prior to January 1, 2022. All MPS schools prepared a school safety plan and are consistent with prior years’ plans.
