Background: Director Larry Miller, who was elected to the Board in April 2009 as Director of District 5, will be retiring from the Board at the end of this current Board year. A Proclamation honoring Director Miller for his service to the Milwaukee Public Schools, its children and families, and its staff is presented for adoption by the Board.
Fiscal Impact Statement: No fiscal impact.
Implementation and Assessment Plan
Recommendation: That the Board waive Board Rule 1.10(1) and adopt the attached Proclamation in recognition and appreciation of Director Larry Miller and his service to the Milwaukee Public Schools and to the citizens of Milwaukee.
